Before You Begin

  • You must have the necessary permissions to access and modify Sites content.
  • Confirm that the post is outdated and should be permanently removed, as this action cannot be undone.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  Click on Sites from your main navigation menu.

2.  Click Content, from the lefthand menu, then Select the News section.

3.  Locate the specific news post you wish to delete.

4.  Click the More menu (three dots (...)) that appears on the right side of the post.

5.  Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

6.  Click OK in the confirmation prompt. [This permanently deletes the news post.]

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Can I undo a deletion? No, once you click 'OK' on the confirmation prompt, the news post is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
  • What if I only want to remove the post from the public view, not delete it? Instead of deleting, unpublish the post. Use the Edit option and uncheck the Published box, then Save News Post. (See related articles.)
