Create a Subpage in Sites

Before You Begin

  • You must have the necessary permissions to access and modify Sites Pages.

  • Decide which existing page will be the Parent Page for your new subpage.

  • Prepare the new page's Content Details.


Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  Click on Sites from your main navigation menu.

2.  Navigate to the Parent Page OR Click Content > Pages.   

3.  Initiate the subpage creation.

  • Method 1 (Directly from Parent Page): Click the Edit Page dropdown and Select Add Subpage.
  • Method 2 (From Content Area): Click the Add Page button.

4.  Fill out the new page details.

5.  Select the Parent Page in the Associations section. [Method 1 automatically associates the subpage.]

6.  Click the Create Page button. [The subpage will automatically be added to the parent page's menu bar.]


Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • My new subpage didn't appear in the parent page's menu bar: Ensure the correct Parent Page was selected in the Associations section before clicking Create Page.

  • How do I rename the subpage? Go to the subpage, click the Edit Page dropdown, Select Edit Page Details, and update the title.
