Creating Programs and Associating Them with Collections in Sites

Before You Begin

  • Ensure the target Collection (e.g., "Ministries") already exists.

  • Gather the Title, Description, and any media (Image/Video) for the new Program.


Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  Navigate to your Sites section.

2.  Initiate the program creation.

  • Method 1 (From Collection Page): Navigate to the Collection Page, Click the Edit page dropdown, and Select Add Program.
  • Method 2 (From Content Menu): Click Content > Programs, and Click the Add Program button.

3.  Enter the title of your program into the Title field (e.g., "Children's Ministry").

4.  Select the relevant Collection (e.g., "Ministries") from the Associate with Collection dropdown menu.

5.  Enter a detailed description into the Description field and Upload any associated media.

6.  Set the Page Visibility and Toggle the options to Display Associated Content (Events, News, Blog Posts).

7.  Click the Create Program button. [The program will now be listed on the associated Collection Page.]


Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • My program is not showing on the Collection Page: Check the Page Visibility setting. If it is set to 'Private' or 'Unlisted', it may not display publicly on the Collection Page. Also, ensure the Associate with Collection field is correctly selected.

  • Can I restrict who sees the program page? Yes, either set the Page Visibility to 'Private' (only accessible by admins) or use the Password Protect field to set a password for public viewers.
