Can I use a custom font on Sites?

Summary: This guide explains that Sites integrates exclusively with Google Fonts, allowing you to select from a vast library of high-quality, free fonts to customize your website's typography by searching for and applying them within the Sites Design settings.

Before You Begin

  • You cannot upload custom font files directly to Sites.
  • Access to Sites > Design > Fonts requires appropriate permissions.
  • It is recommended to explore the Google Fonts website beforehand to choose your desired font.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Can I upload my own custom font file? No, currently Sites integrates only with Google Fonts, and there is no option to upload custom font files directly.
  • I searched for a font, but it isn't listed in the Sites dropdown: Double-check the spelling of the font and ensure it is a font from the Google Fonts library, as fonts from other sources (e.g., Adobe, Dafont) will not appear.
