Linking to Your Latest Newsletter in Sites

Summary: This guide provides the specific link (/newsletter/latest) you can use in your Sites navigation to direct visitors instantly to your most recently sent public email newsletter, with an option to view other recent public issues.


Before You Begin

  • The required link is: /newsletter/latest (e.g., yourchurchwebsite/newsletter/latest).
  • Only newsletters set to "public" will be accessible via this link.
  • The "Public" setting on the newsletter subscription list must be enabled for past newsletters to appear in the "Recent Issues" dropdown menu.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1.  Click the Add Link button in your desired navigation area (e.g., Main Menu, Top Bar, Footer, or within a content Block).

2.  Enter a descriptive label for the link into the Label field (e.g., "Latest News").     

3.  Enter the internal link into the Link To field.     

4.  Enter your information into the Link To field. [Enter /newsletter/latest as the URL.]

5.  Click Save or Save Link to implement the link.

  • My latest newsletter isn't appearing when I click the link: Ensure the newsletter was sent to a subscription list that has the "Public" setting enabled.
