Summary: This guide provides instructions for advanced users on how to embed an image directly within a page's text editor (body section) by first uploading the image to a temporary page and then using its direct URL, or by pulling the URL from Tithely Media.
Before You Begin
- These instructions are for advanced users who need to embed an image directly into the text editor, rather than using standard Image Blocks.
- The image file must be an image file type (JPG, PNG, GIF).
- You must have access to the Content section and the ability to use right-click and Copy Image Address.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Click on Sites from your main navigation.
2. Select Content > Pages from the left.
3. Click the Add Page button.
4. Name the page Image Uploads (or similar).
5. Navigate down to File Downloads. Click Add File Attachment and Upload the image(s) you want to embed.
6. Click the Save Page button.
7. Remain on the Photo Uploads page, Scroll to the Downloads section, Right-click on the image file, and Click Copy Image Address.
8. Navigate to the target page, Place your cursor in the text editor where you want the image, and Click the Insert/edit image button (in the toolbar).
9. Paste the image link copied in Step 7 into the Source field, and Click Save.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
- Why do I have to create a separate "Image Uploads" page? This step is used to easily get a direct, public URL for the image file uploaded to your site, which is required for embedding in the text area.
- The image link I pasted doesn't work: Ensure you Right-click and Copy Image Address (which is the direct link to the file itself), not just the URL of the page where the image is displayed.
