Font Types in Blocks

Summary: This guide explains how to use the built-in Fonts tab ('T' icon) available in the Edit Block settings to customize the appearance of fonts for various text elements—such as Main Heading, Main Subheading, and Element Headings—within an individual content block.

Before You Begin

  • You must have the necessary permissions to access and modify Sites.
  • The options displayed in the Fonts tab will vary depending on the block type you are editing.

1.  Navigate to the page containing the block you wish to customize.

2.  Click the Edit Block button in the top right corner of the block.

3.  Select the Fonts tab ('T' icon).

4.  Select the text element you wish to modify (e.g., Main Heading, Main Subheading, Elements Heading, or Elements Subheading).

5.  Enter your information into the font customization fields. [Adjust options like size, weight, and color, depending on the block type and available choices.]

6.  Click Save Block to apply the changes to the specific block.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Why is the font customization different on this block than on another? The options displayed in the Fonts tab are dependent on the block type. Each block only displays the font options that apply to its structure.
  • I want to change the default font for the entire site: Access your Site Fonts in Site Design (Design > Fonts) to change the system defaults; the changes made here only override the default for this specific block.
