Google Chrome: Clearing Cache and Cookies for Specific Sites

  • Clearing data for a specific domain will require you to re-login to that website afterward.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • Why is this method better than clearing all cache/cookies? Clearing data only for a specific domain prevents you from being logged out of all other websites and potentially losing settings saved across your entire browsing history.

  • I don't see the "Tune Icon" in my URL bar: The visual representation of the icon may vary, but it's typically an icon near the URL bar (often a lock icon or site-information icon) that opens site-specific controls.

  • The issue is still happening after clearing the data: Try closing and reopening the Chrome browser entirely, or consider trying the troubleshooting steps in the related article.
