How to View, Email, and Print Generated Tax Statements

Before You Begin

  • You must have the necessary permissions to access Tithely Giving and Tax Statements.
  • You will receive an email notification once your tax statements have been generated.
  • Statements are sorted by the date they were generated, not by the giving period covered.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Tithely Admin account.
  2. Click Giving from the left-hand menu.
  3. Select Tax Statements.
  4. Click the Date Range of the batch you'd like to manage under the Previous section.
  5. Select your desired delivery option at the top of the batch list:
    • Print All: Opens all statements in a new browser tab for bulk printing.
    • Email All: Sends emails to all donors in the batch.
  6. Deliver to individuals (optional):
    • Print for an Individual: Click the printer icon next to a donor’s name.
    • Email an Individual: Click the paper airplane icon next to a donor’s name.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • What happens if a donor is missing an email address? When using Email All, you will be prompted to add an email address. If you prefer to send a printed statement, you can leave the email field blank.
  • I see a yellow warning triangle next to a donor's name: This indicates that the email address is missing or invalid. Click the triangle to add or correct the donor's email.
  • Do changes to donor emails here update their profile? Yes, changes made to a donor's email address within the tax statement section also update their profile in the People area.
