Setting Up and Updating Your Donation Confirmation Emails

Before You Begin

  • You must be logged into your Tithely account and have the necessary permissions to access Giving Settings.
  • If you have multiple locations, select the correct location from the dropdown menu to apply changes to.
  • The logo used in the email signature mirrors the logo uploaded in Brand Settings.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Customize Email Content

1.  Log in to your Tithely account and select Giving.

2.  Click Settings.     

3.  Select the location you'd like to update settings for by clicking on it from the drop-down menu.

4.  Click Donation Emails.

5.  Enter or edit the following information: * Who the email is from (Church name or Pastor). * The subject line of the email. * A header graphic. * Introduction text (Email Body Text). * A signature (text) to sign off the email.

7.  Click Save.

 

Incorporate Organization Logo in Signature

1.  Click the Global Settings button (person icon).

2.  Select My Organization.     

3.  Select Locations.

4.  Select the location you wish to update.

5.  Under Brand Settingsupload your church's logo.

6.  Save. [This logo will be mirrored in your donation email signature.]


Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • How can I see what the email looks like before sending? Click the Preview Email button (Step 6) to instantly see an example of the confirmation email with your customizations.
  • How is the logo added to the signature? The logo is automatically incorporated into the email signature by mirroring the logo you uploaded in the Global Settings > Brand Settings for that location.
  • Can I customize the support email address in the footer? Yes, you can typically toggle off the option to "Use default support email" in the Donation Email settings and enter a custom support email address.
  • Please note that your files should not be more than 50 MB. We accept the following image formats: PNG, GIF, JPG, and JPEG. Additionally, please ensure your images are sized between 200x200 and 1200x400 pixels for optimal display.
