Add a Location to Plan Your Visit

Before You Begin

  • You must have Admin access to your Tithely Site.

  • The "Plan Your Visit" feature must be turned on for the menu option to appear.


Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Navigate to your main dashboard and click on Sites in the primary navigation menu.
  2. Select Plan Your Visit from the left-hand navigation menu to open the settings panel.
  3. Select Locations from the left-hand menu.

  4. Enter the Location Name, Address, and Contact Information.

    • Note: You must add a location before adding services.

  1. Select Services from the left-hand menu.

  2. Enter the Service Title, Location, Day of the Week, Time, and Available Spots.

    • Note: A service only needs to be added once; it will repeat weekly.

  3. Select Display from the left-hand menu to choose where the button appears:

    • Topbar, Bottom Left Button, or Main Menu.

  4. Select Notifications from the left-hand menu.

  5. Enter the Email Address(es) to receive notifications when a visit is planned.

    • Separate multiple emails with a comma or semicolon (e.g., pastor@yourchurch.com)


Troubleshooting & FAQs

  • What is the Exit Pop-up?: When enabled, this pop-up appears when a visitor tries to leave the page, encouraging them to plan a visit before they go.

  • What is the Thank You Pop-up?: This text displays after a visitor successfully plans a visit. It also appears in the confirmation email sent to them.

  • How do I view planned visits?: Go to the Visits tab in the Plan Your Visit menu. You can use filters to view visitors by specific location or service.

  • Who gets notified when a visit is planned?: The person planning the visit receives a notification, as well as any email addresses added to the Notifications settings.
