  • Website Updates: Post announcements and FAQs on the church’s website. 
  • Social Media: Use social media platforms to inform and remind donors about the transition.
  • Support Team Training (Giving Ops Team): Ensure support staff are well-informed and prepared to assist donors with the transition.
  • On-Stage Announcements: This is a time to communicate clearly from the most visible location to ensure the donor’s peace of mind in the transition and to encourage generosity in the moment. This can be done by anyone on stage by typically is received the best if given by the person most-seen (Senior Pastor). 
  • Creating QR Codes: creating quick and easy-to-use QR codes to give donors direct access to the Giving Form is very impactful and gives donors a clear direction for when they are called to generosity 
  • Slides and Graphics for Launch Sunday: We here at Tithe.ly have created this Free Launch Kit full of materials that you are free to use during this launch to your church. I know your team may want to make some more customized materials but these could help your team get started and give you some direction as you create materials like this.
  • A Video to Encourage Donors - Here’s a great example of a video from Church Leadership at North Coast Church that is used to encourage donors to give. Videos like this deliver a huge impact to your donor’s generosity. Additionally, here’s another video that North Coast Church used in their transition. 
  • Push Notifications and Text Messages - Send communication in the places that your donors are already communicating. If your church members are already communicating via text messages or you are already sending push notifications - these are great places to communicate the change to Tithe.ly.
    • Statistics show that over 95% of all Text Messages are read - this is a great place to announces changes to your members. Some helpful templates are located in the Launch Kit above!
  • Launching to Staff and Church Leadership First - Tithe.ly recommends launching to your internal team first. This will increase the buy-in to the change from the inside, out. Try launching with your team first and then launch to the larger church.

After the transition date, send a follow-up email to all donors thanking them for their patience and cooperation, and providing any further assistance if needed.
