Before You Begin
You must log in to your Tithely account with Finance permissions to access these settings.
🚨 Important Note: Tithely does not save custom links within your account. Once generated, make sure to copy and save your link somewhere safe (like a spreadsheet or shared document) if you plan to use it again!
Step-by-Step Instructions
Log in to your Tithely account.
Select Giving from the main left-hand menu.
Select Giving Form.
Click Create Custom Link.
Set your desired parameters. You only need to use at least one of the following to create your link:
Amount: Set a specific default donation amount.
Fund: Pre-select a default fund for the donation to go toward.
Recurring Giving: Toggle on or off the recurring donation options.
Hide Other Locations: If you have multiple church campuses on your account, use this to hide the location drop-down menu.
Click Create Custom Link once your parameters are set.
Copy the direct link or embed code provided on the next screen to share via email, text, or on your website.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
Will creating a custom link change my main giving form? No. Custom links are completely separate one-off links. Any changes made here will not impact or overwrite your main, primary Giving Form.
In what order do the funds appear on a custom link? The fund drop-down menu on your custom giving link will always display your active funds in alphabetical order. This ensures consistency and makes it easy for donors to navigate.
I lost my custom link, where can I find it? Because Tithely does not save custom links in a list on your dashboard, you cannot retrieve a lost link. If you misplace it, you will simply need to generate a new one using the steps above.
