Before You Begin
- You must have the necessary permissions to access Tithely Giving and Bank Deposits.
- Bank Deposit Reports simplify financial management by providing easy access to giving data.
- Customizing the deposit download must be done individually for each deposit.
Step-by-Step Instructions
View Details and Transactions
- Select Giving.
- Select Bank Deposits from the Giving menu.
- Locate the bank deposit you'd like to view and Click on it to see the Summary Details (Deposit Details card).
- To View Transactions: On the deposit details card, Click the View All Transactions link.
Export a CSV of a Bank Deposit
- Select Giving Bank Deposits.
- Click on the bank deposit to view the summary.
- On the Deposit card, Click the Download CSV button. [A pop-up may appear asking for download permission; select Allow.]
Customize and Export a Deposit Report
- Select Giving Bank Deposits.
- Select the deposit you would like to customize.
- On the right, in the Transactions card, select the Arrow Icon in the top right.
4. While viewing the transactions, select the Columns icon at the top right.
5. Select the fields you would like to display or hide.
6. Select + Filter, Enter a Date Range correlating with the deposit, and Select Apply.
7. Select the Download CSV icon in the top right to download your customized report.
Mark a Deposit as Reconciled
- Select Giving Bank Deposits.
- Click on the bank deposit to view the summary.
- Click the Mark as Done! button. [A green check mark will appear in place of the button, along with the reconciled date.]
Un-reconcile Deposits
- Select Giving Bank Deposits.
- Click on the bank deposit to view the summary.
- Click on the 'Undo' button next to the Reconciled tab.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
- How do I know a deposit is reconciled? A reconciled deposit will have a green check mark in place of the 'Mark as Done!' square and the reconciled date on the right side of the details card.
- Why did the CSV download not start? A browser pop-up may have appeared asking for download permission ("Do you want to allow downloads on app.tithely.com?"). Select Allow to start the download.
- Why must I manually filter by date when customizing the report? You must manually enter a date range that correlates with the deposit you are viewing to ensure the customized download reflects the correct period.
