How to Fix the "Giving Has Not Been Set Up for This Location Yet" Error

Before You Begin

  • You must be an Administrator for your church's account.
  • You will need your church's bank account and routing numbers.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Log in to your Tithely account and click on My Organization in the dropdown menu.

  3. Click on the specific location you need to enable, then select 'View and Update Banking Information'.
  4. Enter your church's bank account details into the required fields. 
  5. Click the Save button to confirm the information.
  6. Wait up to 4 hours for the system to verify the new banking information. Online giving will become active for your location once this verification process is complete.

  • What does this error message mean? This error appears when the bank account details for a specific church location have not yet been added or successfully verified in the system. Donations cannot be processed until this step is complete.
  • I updated the bank information, but the error is still there. After saving your bank credentials, there is a mandatory waiting period of up to 4 hours for the changes to take effect. Please allow this full time to pass before checking the giving form again.
  • It has been more than 4 hours and the error persists. What should I do? First, please double-check that the bank account and routing numbers were entered correctly. If the information is accurate and you have waited 4 hours, please contact Tithely support for further assistance.
