Welcome to the new Tithely experience! You're now on the redesigned platform, with access to Tithely People's free features. This guide will show you how to leverage these tools to manage your church's most basic contact information efficiently.
What's New?
You'll discover a significantly enhanced and user-friendly interface with key improvements focused on making your people management even easier:
- A Beautifully Rebuilt Dashboard: Your new dashboard is designed for quick access to key areas. You'll find People easily accessible right from this main page. For quick support and resources, Help and Support (allowing you to connect with our support team) and Tithely University are also readily available on your home dashboard.
- Settings in a New Home: Your primary settings, which used to be in the bottom-left, have now moved to the top-right corner of your screen. Look for the Person Icon with Down Arrow. This icon opens your primary settings where you'll manage your Organization, User Settings, and Notifications.
Getting Started with People Management (Free Plan Features)
With the free plan, you can easily add, access, and manage basic contact information for your church members.
Adding a Person
- Select the "People" tab from the top left.
- Click the blue "Add Person" button on the right.
- On the left, select the fields you wish to add. The selected fields will be remembered the next time you add a person.
- Fill in the fields, including basic contact information like home address, phone numbers, and email, along with their birthday.
- Click the "Add Person" button to create the profile.
Editing Profile Information
- Navigate to the person you wish to edit.
- Click the gray header over the section you wish to edit.
- Make the desired changes to their basic information, contact details, or birthday.
- Click the blue "Save" button on the gray header to complete your changes.
Navigating Through a Profile
Each profile contains sections on the left-hand side that allow you to quickly access the basic information for that particular individual.
Searching People
You can easily find individuals by selecting the "People" tab from the top left and using the basic search functionality to locate profiles.
Importing and Exporting Profiles
The free plan allows you to export and import profiles into your database. This is a great starting point for managing your basic contact list.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Will my existing Donor, Giving, or reporting data be affected by this transition? Great news! This transition will not affect your Donor, Giving, or reporting data. Everything you rely on in those areas will remain exactly the same.
- Where can I find help once my account has been migrated? Once your account has been migrated, you'll gain access to our new help center, featuring updated articles covering all things Tithely. You can also find direct links to "Help and Support" on your new home dashboard, where you can connect with our support team. You'll also find Tithely University for additional resources.
- My settings used to be in the bottom left. Where are they now? Your primary settings have moved to the top-right corner of the dashboard. Look for the person icon with the down arrow.
