Summary: This guide explains Tithely's default weekly deposit schedule (every Wednesday), detailing the different processing times for Credit/Debit (2 business days) versus ACH/eCheck (up to 10 business days) transactions, and covers factors like initial transaction delays, account verification, and the impact of bank holidays.
Before You Begin
- The default deposit schedule is weekly, every Wednesday.
- The first transaction through Tithely will take ten (10) business days to be deposited (a one-time security measure).
- Caution: Changing your deposit schedule takes up to 2 business days to take effect.
- First, be sure you're familiar with our full deposit reporting. See Viewing Your Bank Deposit Reports.
- You should always check the status of your transactions before you expect your deposit to transfer.
Deposit Timing Based on Transaction Type
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Check Transaction Clearance: Wait for all transactions to clear (2 business days for Credit/Debit; up to 10 for ACH).
2. Wait for Wednesday Deposit: Eligible funds are included in the next Wednesday deposit. [Remember that ACH may clear faster depending on the banks involved.]
Important Notes
- Account Verification: Deposits are restricted during the security screening process (2 business days). Funds will be held if required information (requested via dashboard banner or secure PipeFile) is not provided.
- Holidays: If a bank holiday occurs during the week, deposits may be delayed by one or more days. If the holiday lands on Monday, the deposit may skip that week and resume the following Wednesday.
- Changing Schedule: Options like daily or monthly are available (except in Japan), but weekly is strongly recommended for lower risk and easier reconciliation. You can make this change by following the steps in the related article.
- To make this change, follow the steps outlined in Updating Your Deposit Schedule and Statement Descriptor Settings.
