Before You Begin
- You'll need to have just completed a one-time gift through the giving form.
- No account or login is required — this is available whether you give as a guest or while signed in.
- This offer doesn't appear for every organization or every gift — if you don't see it, you can always set up recurring giving manually from the Recurring tab.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Complete your one-time gift as you normally would on the giving form.
- On the Thank You page, look for a card under "Keep the impact going" offering to repeat your gift — for example, Make this a Weekly Recurring Gift or Make this a Monthly Recurring Gift.
- Tap the offer button. A window will open confirming the details — for example, "Give $56.75 every month, starting September 24, 2026. You can cancel anytime".
- Tap the green button to confirm (it will repeat your gift amount and frequency, e.g. "Give $56.75 Monthly"), or tap No thanks to decline.
- The card will update to show your recurring gift was set up successfully. If something went wrong, you'll see a message letting you know.
Troubleshooting & FAQs
- Why was I offered a weekly gift instead of monthly (or vice versa)? The option you see is based on your giving history and payment method, so it can vary from donor to donor. Either option can always be changed or canceled from your Recurring tab at any time.
- Will I be charged right away? No — to make sure you're never charged twice for the same gift, your first scheduled recurring charge is automatically skipped. Your recurring gift will begin on the date shown in the confirmation window.
- I tapped the button but I'm not sure if it worked. Check your Recurring tab to see if the gift was created. If you don't see it there, you can set up the recurring gift manually.
- Can I cancel or change the amount later? Yes — once created, this recurring gift works just like any other. You can update the amount, frequency, or payment method, or cancel it anytime from the Recurring tab.
- I don't see this option on my thank-you page. This offer isn't available for every organization yet. You can still set up a recurring gift manually at any time from the Recurring tab.
- Does this cost anything extra? No — there's no additional cost to set up or maintain a recurring gift this way.
